South State Street Commons

This renovation of a 70’s era building contemporized this formerly dark and understated building. By recladding the front exterior and redesigning the public spaces within the building, this updated look brought a lighter, brighter feel to the building, encapsulating Rueter Associates Architects’ appreciation for light and space. By removing the pre-existing driveway and creating a welcoming pedestrian entrance, the design brought an inviting feel to the space, providing a natural gateway to the warm, bright interior.
